$ aptitude moo
There are no Easter Eggs in this program.
$ aptitude -v moo
There really are no Easter Eggs in this program.
$ aptitude -vv moo
Didn't I already tell you that there are no Easter Eggs in this program?

9) Apt-get

In un terminale scrivete

 apt-get help

.
Se l’uovo è presente, ci sarà una linea contenente (di solito l’ultima) “This APT has Super Cow Powers.”

Se il testo è presente scrivete:

 apt-get moo

.

Ed avrete il vostro uovo di Pasqua

Su Gentoo l’equivalente è

emerge moo

8) VIM (vi improved)

Aprite vi improved con:

$ vim

Quindi scrivete “:help 42”

 ls /usr/share/emacs/22.1/lisp/play/

openoffice-team-eater-egg-in-writer

6) openoffice

Oh No!!!

 nmap -oS - scanme.nmap.org

sTaRting NmAp 5.21 ( httP://nmap.0rg ) at 2011-04-23 17:58 C3$T
nmap Scan rEporT F0r $Canm3.Nmap.orG (64.13.134.52)
HOst Iz up (0.23s LaTency).
N0t showN: 993 filt3red ports
P0RT      ST4T3  SERV|C3
22/tcp    opeN   $$h
25/Tcp    cl0s3d $mtp
53/tCp    0P3n   doMaIN
70/tcP    cLos3d g0pher
80/tcp    0p3n   http
113/tcp   Cl0sEd auth
31337/tcp cLo$ed 3L|t3

1) Firefox/Mozilla

  1. That was fun! Thanks; I’d always wondered about Easter Eggs in Linux!

  2. Hi, the Openoffice ones don’t work in Libreoffice and the Gnome ones don’t work (like so many other things) in Gnome 3.

  3. In Open Office-Calc enter in any cell =GAME(“StarWars”) for a game of Star Wars

  7. ” ls /usr/share/emacs/22.1/lisp/play/”

    Not everyone is running emacs 22.1. On my Debian testing system, it would be:

    /usr/share/emacs/23.3/lisp/play

  8. Another firefox easter egg is
    about:robots

  9. Man the Emacs easter egg is so not easter… It’s like saying Windoze has an easter egg called Minesweeper…

  10. Tried Libre Office and it didn’t work…..sorry

  11. really interesting … will surely try this one

  12. I tried “aptitude moo”… on my Raspberry PI…:-) As I tried “aptitude -vvvvv moo” I saw an ASCII Art. And with “aptitude -vvvvvv moo” an explanation is shown. In the German version you can read: “Was ist das? This is a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “Le Petit Prince”..:-D
