When in the hands of a sysadmin, Cura will provide:
- A personalized Terminal emulator for direct interaction with said server.

I wouldn’t add “Server Monitor” to be a good tool for checking if systems are up working or not, far better is to use Icinga or any other Nagios fork and then have an app that get the status from the Icinga server, you can make better checks and if you have more than one person who needs to know about the status, you don’t need two or more checks (one for each user who uses “Server Monitor” to check if a server is up), just one, which will keep the load on the server to a minimum and you can have the actual servers in a DMZ which the phones can’t reach and still get the status.
Icinga do provide an excelent application for cellphones. Check http://icinga.org and become a real Linux admin and not just an Indian outsourcing staff.
Pretty good post! Especially the excuse app is something I never knew about. Connectbot is pretty useful as well!
