Garry’s mod is one of the most sold games for Linux on Steam, so I’ve decided to publish this review of the game, first published on devtome.com

Garry’s Mod, developed by Facepunch is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable and hilarious games that I have ever played. Out of the box, the game is perhaps one of the ultimate sandbox games available anywhere. You spawn in the middle of an open area that you choose and you can spawn in just about any item or NPC that you can think of. This game is also probably one of the best physics simulators available. The entire game revolves around physics. In this game you are able to do whatever you heart desires and although I say that with a lot of different games, I truly mean it with Garry’s Mod. Whatever you want. If you want to build an airplane out of a bathtub and some planks of wood, then be my guest. You can simply spawn in the materials that you want and then use tools to “weld” them together. Using weight tools you can make these items very light, which will allow them to become airborne. This game definitely deserves lots of praise.

YrminsulHave you had enough of nice and friendly heroes? Then become the villain of the piece! Get your own back on the pathetic forces of the good and make them finally understand that evil is something to be taken seriously, and must be well done. Resist their combined attacks during a game combining strategy and Tower Defense phases in a persistent universe. Make their islands, which make up this boring haven of peace, fall one by one. Evil spirits, boastfulness and a tendency towards machievelic laughter will finally be rewarded through a title which renews the codes of the genre. You can find all of this and a great cartoon style graphics in this new title (it’s been released on 16 of April for Linux): Yrminsul, the game has been developed by an French Indie software house: Studio Black Flag Let’s see some more about this game. You can find all of these games on Steam, and most of them are available at a discounted price on The Humble Store, I suggest to take a look at both websites as in these days they are doing big sales on these titles with discounts from 25 up to 75% of the listed price.
