While there are many music players out there, most of them require you to purchase the music and add it to your own playlist. This can amass quite a lot of work, especially if you have large collections of music, and because of that using an alternative such as Atraci is truly recommended.

What is Atraci?

Simply put, Atraci is a music player that streams music from YouTube. The idea isn’t new, with other apps such as MusicTube providing a similar set of features, but what Atraci does is that it allows you to access the current top tracks you can find on the market right after entering the app.

Clementine is one of the best audio players, hyper-complete, highly configurable, powerful but easy to use, Clementine Player is simply the ideal for me. Multiplatform, open source and free, it’s a real pearl to try without hesitation.

Clementine is a music player and library organizer, It is a port of Amarok 1.4 to the Qt 4 framework and the GStreamer multimedia framework. It is available for Unix-like, Windows and Mac OS X.
Clementine was created because of the Amarok transition from version 1.4 to version 2, and the shift of focus connected with it, which was criticized by many users. The first version of Clementine was released in February 2010

Nightingale is an audio player with a beautiful interface with a wide range of supported audio formats, all with multi-platform support. Being the fork of Songbird, it offers the user a lot of cool features like the ability to play MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, WMA etc formats, Mp3 download feature, Last.fm integration and much more.

Nightingale’s engine is based on the Mozilla XULRunner with libraries such as the GStreamer media framework and libtag providing media tagging and playback support, amongst others. Since official support for Linux was dropped by Songbird in April, 2010, Linux-using members of the Songbird community diverged and created the project. Contrary to Songbird, which is primarily licensed under the GPLv2 but includes artwork that is not freely distributable, Nightingale is entirely free software, licensed under the GPLv2, with portions under the MPL and BSD licenses.
