It focuses on closed rally tracks with possible stunt elements (jumps, loops, pipes).
The game and editor both run on Windows and Linux. The Windows installer has all tracks included.

Car simulation is done by VDrift a great open source game by itself.
The development team maintains Windows installers and Ubuntu PPA. For other Linux distribution you can start from the .deb packages or check the download page, where you can find information also for Arch and Opensuse.
On Ubuntu to install it you must run from a terminal the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stuntrally-team/stable sudo add-apt-repository ppa:andrewfenn/ogredev sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install stuntrally
There are packages for natty, maverick and lucid. All tracks (available at the time of the release) are included. Problems with these packages should be reported in the issue tracker.
As in most racing games the goal of the game is the “classic one” , we have to get in the first positions to go to the next level and unlock new cars. The graphic is great and there are several available point of views (external from a side, the driver’s point of view, from behind, from above, etc.).
If all the tracks that come with the game are not enough, in the game is also available a track editor that allow to create your own tracks.
